The CAMSS30 Command Post (CP) is a compact, all-weather, portable shelter system that is designed for quick set up and ready for worldwide deployment.
Command and Control
The CAMSS30CP is perfect for the center of operations. With eight double zipper doors, the CAMSS30CP allows for numerous complexing configurations. Each door is equipped with a connector boot to allow for easy hook up to other CAMSS Shelters or to TEMPER Tents. The versatility and portability of the CAMSS30CP is a major benefit for deployed operations.
CAMSS30CP Characteristics
Measuring 29.5' wide by 32.5' long by 15' high, the CAMSS30CP provides a large, comfortable, bright, open area suitable for a situation or briefing room. This portable shelter is designed to be the central hub of operations with easy access from all directions. Six personnel can erect it in less than two hours with the ladders and tools provided.
Fully Equipped Shelter System
Included with the CAMSS30CP is a quick connect electrical kit with lights and outlets, extreme temperature-high humidity kit, flooring, eight windows, HVAC ports, and electrical pass-through ports. Everything, to include the set up and tear down tools, is packed into a CAMSS Medium Composite Container measuring 82" wide by 96" long by 47" high. With room to spare, other command post components may be packed inside the container with the shelter. Two of the CAMSS Medium Composite Containers will fit on one 463L pallet for air shipment.
Worldwide Usability
Proven through both extreme climate testing and field use, the extreme temperature kit is suitable for weather conditions throughout the world. From the high heat of Qatar to the extreme cold of the South Pole, the CAMSS30CP maintains a comfortable internal temperature. Engineered for high wind and snow loads, the CAMSS30CP is suitable for all conditions.
Vehicle Door Option
An 11' wide by 10.5' high vehicle door is also available as an option for the CAMSS30CP Shelter. One or both ends of the shelter may be equipped with a vehicle door for the user if desired, with the CAMSS30CP remaining a highly portable shelter. This option makes the CAMSS30CP even more versatile, adding the ability to drive in large vehicles or to forklift in heavy equipment while only taking away the double zipper personnel door with connector in the end where the vehicle door is placed.
